Plum ready-mix concrete colouring is very similar to Maple and Balsam wood.
If you are using two bags, it can create a darker color than Maple but with a bit more of a reddish hue, where if you use a single bag you have a much lighter color that still holds a quite a bit of a grey / natural concrete colour to it.
Most of the reddish colours are not very common on concrete but especially on a walkway along the side of a house, plum can be a great option to compliment existing siding and tie in well with colorful plant life.
Its slight colouring with a single bag mix, is also great for borders against other greys or even beige colours.
Integral Ready Mix Concrete is superior to topical coatings because it is mixed evenly and completely throughout the concrete prior to it being poured.
This means that if there is a crack or cut to the concrete over time, that the natural concrete colour does not show through.
This helps protect the overall look of the concrete even if damage or chips occur over time.
