As with any dark colour, be cautious of heat if your patio is going to be in direct sunlight especially with a west facing back yard but most of our clients that have used a darker colour will tell you that you want to be aware of it, but it creates an awesomely warm evening patio entertainment space as it soaks up the heat all day from the sun.
