Midnight Bay ready-mix concrete colour is very close to a natural concrete colour when it is freshly cured, but slightly darker.
If you are looking for an very neutral and flexible grey colour that will go with almost any landscape design than midnight bay is an ideal option. It is not as popular as some of the darker ready-mix grey colors but it is often an go to when people are a bit more concerned with direct sunlight or with west facing back yards.
What is great about Midnight Bay as a ready-mix concrete colour and if you will be doing a stamped pattern, is that it works amazing with a topical dark color to fill the veins and texture of the stone stamp.
This allows for a really cool, medium grey stamp color that is flexible but also a bit more resistance to heat in a yard with direct sun exposure.
Midnight Bay also works great up against water features as it will pull some of the natural blue tinge from the water/sky.
Integral Ready Mix Concrete is superior to topical coatings because it is mixed evenly and completely throughout the concrete prior to it being poured.
This means that if there is a crack or cut to the concrete over time, that the natural concrete colour does not show through.
This helps protect the overall look of the concrete even if damage or chips occur over time.
