Our Integral color mix in the Champagne color, while not being one of our most popular colors, is a great mix to help match against existing bricks or as a pathway around a pool or water feature.
While not often used as an entire pad color, it also created a perfect base color to help show a contrasting grout line with stamped patterns or to be an accent.
Quite often this color is used in a realistic wood pattern in conjunction with our BoardWalk Stamp pattern to help create a realistic wood pattern which is especially great as a walk way between larger pads or out to a fire pit.
Champagne colors are also great to be used in back yard designs that are trying to keep a Latin American vibe.
The difference between the two Champagne colors types you see in the photo is based on the number of bags of color that are added to a ready mix concrete batch.
A single bag will create a nice tone but will still have some of the natural concrete tone come through with it. By adding the second bag you enhance the original color and allow a more strong color profile. This mix type is also great to allow for a contrasting hue, while using the same color mix to create accenting hues of the same color.
Integral Ready Mix Concrete is superior to topical coatings because it is mixed evenly and completely throughout the concrete prior to it being poured.
This means that if there is a crack or cut to the concrete over time, that the natural concrete colour does not show through.
This helps protect the overall look of the concrete even if damage or chips occur over time.
